Everything About Google Pixel 4

For the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro, and iPhone 11 Pro Max, Google Pixel 3 was awarded as the best camera phone, not to mention Huawei Mate 20 Pro and Huawei Mate 30 Pro. These phones, too, had competing camera specifications on every smartphone. But the impressive thing about Pixel is that Google did it with one goal. Well, not for long. It seems that Google is finally admitting (in a way) that smartphones need more lenses than just one lens.

A year ago, Google’s vice president of product management said about the use of a second lens in Pixel phones that “we thought it was not necessary,” arguing that their ML technology can compensate for this without using a secondary camera. This year, Google upgraded the Pixel with a new telephoto lens. Google says the new lens creates exceptional high-quality images, even from a distance, using its Super Res zoom software. It does not have a wide-angle lens. The Pixel 4 is considered the most leaked phone of all time. Because people know what’s coming, there are no big surprises.

Performance:

The performance of the Pixel phone has always been impressive due to Android in stock. The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL have the Snapdragon 855 instead of the Snapdragon 855+. It has 6 GB of RAM and is available in 64 GB and 128 GB storage options. The Pixel 4 has 2,800 mAh and the Pixel 4 XL has a 3,700 mAh battery, which is not enough for a phone with a 90 Hz screen and so many pixels.

Display and Design:

Pixel phones now have a 90Hz screen; this is a treat for those who like high refresh rate screens. The smaller Pixel 4 has a 5.7″ FHD+ display with 444ppi, and the Pixel 4 XL has a 6.3″ QHD+ display with a screen density of 537ppi. Both have a 19:9 aspect ratio, a 90 Hz refresh rate known as a smooth display, and an ambient equalizer for automatic color adjustment.

Speaking of design, the new Pixel 4 does not come with a notch display. It has an almost bezel-less screen, but with a warning. There is a large chin at the top and a smaller one at the bottom. The front of the phone has new sensors such as radar and facial recognition sensors, as it does not have a fingerprint scanner. The front and back of the phone are made of Gorilla Glass 5 glass, surrounded by a sturdy grid.

Camera:

Awarded as the best camera phone, last year’s Pixel 3 is known for taking brilliant photos. the new Pixel 4 should be tested before considering the best camera phone, as the new iPhone 11 series has been making waves as one of the best camera phones for years.

The new Pixel 4 has a dual-camera setup with an “iPhone 11-like” camera bump. One is the main sensor and the other is a telephoto lens. Google is also adding new features to the Pixel 4, such as astrophotography and live HDR+. Astrophotography is a feature that allows you to capture the galaxy using Google’s night vision feature in the dark.

The video department is still not that impressive because it can only capture 4K at 30fps, unlike the new iPhones. The video specifications are listed below in the main specifications.

Novelty:

There are new features in the new Pixel that may be gadgets for some people, such as the motion detection function, which uses a radar to detect movements and perform an action on your phone, such as unlocking your phone or changing a music track, or snooze alarms by waving your hand. It also has a Pixel neural core, which makes devices faster and more secure and performs a permanent calculation, on-device processing, and machine learning.

New applications:

The new voice recorder of the Pixel 4 comes with the transcription function and allows you to transcribe the voice into text. It can also search for a particular word in your recorded speech if you search for it. All this happens on a device without the Internet, which is impressive. It also has a personal safety app that automatically calls 911 if it detects a car accident. Car accident detection will be available in English in the United States.

The Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL will ship on October 24, respectively. It will be available in three colors, plain white, plain black, and a limited edition Oh So Orange.
